This Sonoma county couples session was so much fun, and Andrea and Issac are such a beautiful couple! As a Sonoma County photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing many couples and engagement sessions. Many couples aren’t comfortable in front of the camera, and posing my them for their photos is such a fun aspect of what I get to do. With that being said, I wanted to share some unique and different things you can incorporate into your session to make it more fun and less awkward feeling!
Andrea & Issac’s Fun Couples Photo Session
Aside from these two being naturally playful and sweet with one another, we also had fun with adding movement and motion blur into the session. When you add movement, you can help break the awkwardness because you’re acting natural and being comfortable with your partner. While getting some posed looks is great, getting some candid shots or shots where you’re walking or being playful with one another is great too. Motion blur can add a different meaning to photos when you look back at them. It always makes you question what you were doing and feeling in that moment. When you add movement into your session, you can turn your photos from poses to moments in time, and add emotion to them that will take you right back to that exact moment.
