I recently had the pleasure of capturing Jacob and Grace’s intimate sunrise proposal in one of the most beautiful locations on earth – Yosemite! Jacob reached out to me through a referral from my friend. From the start, we planned something truly special. He wanted to surprise Grace at sunrise, so we coordinated everything to make it seem like I wasn’t in on the plan. The early morning light, combined with the quiet serenity of Yosemite, set the perfect backdrop for such a magical moment!
Beating the Crowds at Sunrise
Yosemite is a dream for proposals, but it can get pretty busy! Luckily, Jacob’s idea to pop the question at sunrise was genius. We managed to beat the crowds and had the park almost to ourselves. It made everything feel even more personal and special, just the two of them soaking in the moment in such a beautiful place. As the sun started to rise, it created that perfect, soft glow that makes photos so dreamy.
Exploring the Park After the Proposal
After the big “Yes!” we spent the rest of the morning exploring the park, taking in the iconic views and capturing candid moments along the way. Jacob and Grace were the sweetest couple, and their connection made it so easy to get those natural, heartfelt shots. From the quiet moments by the waterfalls to the fun, adventurous shots with Yosemite’s famous rock formations in the background, every photo reflected their excitement and love.
