Filoli Gardens & Cactus Garden Engagement Photos

Gabrielle and David had such a fun time capturing their engagement photos at Filoli Gardens and Cactus Garden! We chose these two locations as they both are outdoors and gardens but have two totally different vibes. We got to capture so many different backdrops throughout this session!

Gabrielle and David Engagement Session

We started off the session at the Filoli Gardens! I have done multiple sessions at this location and I absolutely love it due to all the diverse backdrops you can get from one location! You can actually read my blog on Olivia and Wiley’s Filoli Gardens engagement session here! For the engagement session, Gabrielle wore a short off the shoulder white dress, and David wore a blue button up with pants! Their outfits were definitely classy and they perfectly complemented each other! Their outfits were also perfect for the spring vibes of April and of the gardens. We stopped at so many different spots during the session and one of my favorites was definitely the photos in front of the mansion! It gave such a historical vibe to the photos which I loved! 

We then headed to the Arizona Garden also known as Cactus Garden which is a historical garden located in Stanford University. I loved how the vibe and backdrop completely changed when we entered the Cactus Garden! Here there is a ton of lush greenery but it’s not filled with florals like the Filoli Gardens but it is filled with cacti and members of the cacti family! At this location Gabrielle changed into a different dress with puffy shoulders and looser fit which I loved! It complemented the desert atmosphere of this location perfectly! Here we captured so many fun and playful shots, really capturing the love Gabrielle and David have for each other.
